Thespihonest Theatre Company
MEET THE FOUNDERS!
The founders of Thespihonest, Lily and Sanna, met at a Youth Drama Camp that specialises in Shakespeare.

They founded this company with the goal of putting classical theatre in the hands of people generally overlooked in this world.
Thespihonest strives to inspire, uplift, and showcase young theatre artists in the queer, BIPOC, and disabled communities We want to engage audiences, create dialogues about the world and the issues in it, and share our love of the classics through the medium of theatre.

Lily Blaisdell Hamilton (she/they) is an alumna of the California Institute of the Arts. With Thespihonest she has directed Macbeth and The Taming of the Shrew the latter of which she appeared as Petruchio. In their premier production, Romeo and Juliet, she played Romeo and most recently appeared as Mephistophilis in their production of Faustus.
University credits include Oedipus the King, Clytemnestra in Iphigenia and Other Daughters, and Her Name is Sorrow. She has also appeared as Titania and Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Mina Murray in Dracula, The Witch in Into the Woods, Morticia Addams in The Addams Family, and Pamela Edwards in The 39 Steps.
Sanna Legan (she/her) is a visual artist based in New York City where she works with Abortion Access and sells her art. She is an alumna of Carnegie Melon University.
With Thespihonest she played Juliet in Romeo and Juliet.
She has also appeared in Shakespeare's works as Titania and Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Benvolio Romeo and Juliet, Katherine in The Taming of the Shrew, Celia in As You Like It, and Belarius in Cymbeline.
